Job Overview: We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our Missouri sales team. In this role, you will support all of KI's core markets, including higher education, K-12, commercial, healthcare, and state and local government. You will build relationships with end-user clients, architects and designers, dealers, general contractors, and real estate developers throughout the territory. This is a remote, home office-based position. The compensation package includes a base salary of approximately $90,000, plus commission beginning with the first dollar sold.
Responsibilities: Identify, advance, and close sales opportunities. Represent the KI brand by providing expertise in client space applications and workplace solutions. Build strong relationships with architects and designers, end-user clients, influencers, strategic partners, and prospective customers to generate leads and drive sales growth. Facilitate lunch-and-learn presentations with clients and industry partners. Conduct Continuing Education Unit (CEU) programs and educational events. Maintain all sales-related activity in Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring pipeline data is accurate, complete, and current. Participate in community activities and key industry organizations to generate sales opportunities and enhance KI's brand presence. What you Need to Succeed Previous sales or design experience in the furniture industry or a related field preferred. Existing relationships with architects, designers, and end-user clients are a plus. Ability to transport and carry sales samples as needed. Proficiency with CRM technology, preferably Salesforce (SFDC).
