Job Description:
Pre-commissioning and industrial cleaning services on a turnkey or itemized scope basis depending on project and customer needs. The services offered by BICS to perform and/or support Pre-Commissioning Cleaning are:
- Continuous Steam Blows (with Wet or Dry Silencer Capabilities)
- High Volume/High Velocity Lube, Hydraulic and Fuel Oil Flushes
- Abrasive Pigging and Air BlowsHigh Volume/High Velocity Water System Flushes
- Boiler Chemical Cleaning, Boilout and Degreasing
- Hydrolazing Services
- Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Pressure Testing
- Equipment Rental and Field Technician Services
Physical Requirements:
The duties and responsibilities are generally performed in a plant or support services environment. The position generally involves:occasional sitting; frequent standing, occasional walking; moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (50lbs.+); frequent kneeling, twisting and balancing; occasional climbing; frequent reaching; frequent pushing/pulling, grasping and operation of machinery.80% of the work is outside; 20% inside. The environmental conditions generally include: Frequent exposure to the elements (ie., heat, cold, rain)the majority of the work will be outside or in a construction-like atmosphere; hazardous conditions. The use of protective clothing and/or personal devices is generally required.
