Electrical Lead (Full-Time Onsite – Alabama)Enertis Applus is a global Consulting and Engineering firm and is a leader in the renewable energy sector. Enertis started its activity in 2007 and has since worked on projects totaling over 250 GW in 65+ countries worldwide. Enertis’ Owner’s Engineering Department provides complementary and supplementary engineering services for developers, owners, and operators of utility scale PV solar projects at every stage of a project. Role: The Electrical Lead will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of the PV electrical systems including DC systems, MV collection, inverters, and HV substation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect DC cabling, combiner boxes, and inverter installations Oversee MV collection system installation and testing Witness electrical testing and commissioning activities Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and OEM standards Coordinate with EPC electrical teams and OE staff Track electrical NCRs and inspection reports Requirements 7+ years utility-scale solar electrical construction experience Strong knowledge of MV collection systems and substation equipment Experience with electrical commissioning preferred
