Position Summary:
Aimtron is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Technicianto support our electronic manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and validating electronic assemblies and systems. This is not an entry-level position and requires practical knowledge of electronic test procedures and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional and diagnostic testing on PCB assemblies and electronic systems
Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies down to component level
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Operate test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test systems
Record test results and maintain accurate documentation of failures and repairs
Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues
Support new product introduction (NPI) testing and validation activities
Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures
Identify process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in electronic testing or related field (EMS environment preferred)
Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and assemblies
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Experience using test and measurement equipment
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and quality Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics or related field
Experience in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry
Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)
Experience with automated test equipment (ATE)Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
Effective communication and teamwork
