About the Role:
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Production Manager will have responsibility for the overall performance of the fabrication operation, including:
- Production planning and scheduling
- Labor, equipment, and material utilization
- Quality, safety, cost, and productivity
- Leadership of supervision and maintenance teams
- Production KPIs and continuous improvement
- Improving manufacturing methods and project flow
- Collaboration with estimating, purchasing, logistics, quality, HR, and executive leadership
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a proven steel fabrication leader with deep operational experience who understands both the people and production sides of the business.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate brings:
- Significant leadership experience within steel fabrication
- Strong production and personnel-management experience
- Ability to read plans and fabrication drawings
- Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience driving continuous improvement
- The leadership presence to operate as a key member of the management team
