About the role

Accounts Receivable Specialist Temporary to Hire Role with our client west of Pittsburgh.
Workplace Type: On-site
Key Responsibilities: Process customer invoicing, cash applications, and payment postings accurately and in a timely manner Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short payments, and other exception items Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances and assist with collection activities for past-due accounts Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues Maintain organized and complete AR documentation, including tenant files and cash receipt records Monitor AR aging and support efforts to keep accounts current Follow established company procedures, policies, and escalation processes Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred Experience & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience Hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE) preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent accounting or finance experience will also be considered Experience with invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and collections Basic understanding of billing terms, AR aging, and cash application workflows Strong communication and customer service skills
