About the role
Position Purpose:
The Respiratory Therapist shall be responsible for the administration of respiratory care offered by the Respiratory Care DepartmentWhat you will do Function clinically with a considerable amount of independent judgment regarding the delivery of quality patient careServe as a technical resource person to the physicians and other health care workers, with regard to current practices in respiratory careSet up, operate and manage patient care on respiratory related equipment such as mechanical ventilators, NIPPV/CPAP, or High Flow Oxygen devicesManage patients on invasive mechanical ventilation modes (AC, PSV, PC, APRV, Bi-level)
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care, minimum of a two-year Associate's DegreeCurrent State of MA Respiratory Therapist LicenseNBRC certification as RRT or CRTCurrent BLS and NRP (or obtained within 90 days of hire date); ACLS recommendedPosition Highlights and Benefits36hr, three 12hr shifts per week 7p-7a (full time).
