Role Summary:
Met Life is seeking a Senior UX Designer to create intuitive, scalable, accessible, and customer-centered B2B digital experiences. This role partners with Product, Engineering, Research, and Business teams to design solutions that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design end-to-end user experiences from discovery through production-ready designs. Create information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Design scalable solutions for dashboards, forms, navigation, tables, and data visualizations. Validate designs through research, usability testing, analytics, and customer feedback. Contribute to and evolve the Met Life Design System. Partner with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and conduct design QA.Apply accessibility and inclusive design best practices to meet WCAG standards. Identify edge cases, error states, and alternative user scenarios. Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, and documentation. Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Research, and Business teams to build alignment and drive solutions.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience designing responsive web applications. Experience designing and shipping B2B digital products. Strong skills in user research, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and usability testing. Experience designing dashboards, workflows, forms, and data-rich experiences. Experience designing accessible digital products and applying WCAG standards. Experience working within established design systems. Advanced proficiency with Figma. Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Figma AI) to enhance UX and UI workflows. Understanding of AI-assisted experiences and responsible AI principles. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in Agile environments and applying Lean UX practices. Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing within a large enterprise environment. Experience building or managing design systems. Service Design experience. Experience designing AI-powered products, copilots, or conversational experiences. Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and Java Script.
