Type: Full-Time or Part-Time What the job is: You will do deep cleaning on floors and carpets at offices, schools, and medical buildings. Most work is nights and weekends. Main jobs: Strip and wax all types of hard floors (VCT, tile, concrete) Deep clean carpets Scrub tile and grout until it looks new Use big floor machines the right way (buffers, burnishers, auto-scrubbers, extractors) Extra jobs when needed: Fill in for regular janitors who call out sick Help clean any building when a manager asks (backup person) Do any cleaning task the supervisor gives you You MUST already know how to: Strip and wax floors (no training - you need real experience) Run carpet extractors and get tough stains out Use floor machines safely and correctly Work fast and careful
What you need: At least 3-5 years doing strip/wax or carpet cleaning (more is better) Valid driver's license Can lift 50 lbs and work on your knees Pass a simple background check Be on time every day We pay good, give steady hours, and respect hard workers.
