Senior Director, Finance | Chicago, IL | HybridLarge, established consumer products organization seeking a Senior Director, Finance in Chicago. This is a senior commercial finance leadership role supporting a sizable, complex business and partnering closely with commercial leadership on financial performance, investment decisions, and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to senior commercial leaders
  • Provide financial leadership across sales performance, customer investment, and commercial planning
  • Support revenue growth and trade-related decision-making
  • Lead forecasting, planning, performance analysis, and business reviews
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin, and overall commercial effectiveness
  • Partner cross-functionally across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other business functions
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
Key Requirements:
  • 13-18+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Background within CPG, food & beverage, consumer products, or a similarly complex organizationStrong commercial, sales finance, or business-unit finance experience
  • Exposure to revenue growth management, trade, customer investment, or related commercial finance activities
  • Broad finance foundation, ideally including FP&A or business planning experience
  • Experience operating within a large, matrixed organizationStrong executive communication and business-partnering skills
  • Prior people leadership experience
