Role Description: The Corporate Development Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL. This position supports strategic growth initiatives by conducting financial and market analyses for potential acquisitions and partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, preparing investment memoranda and presentations, and performing due diligence on target opportunities. The analyst collaborates with corporate development, finance, and operations teams to evaluate operating performance and identify expansion opportunities. The role also involves tracking industry trends, monitoring competitor activity, and contributing to executive reports that inform decision-making.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including data analysis, problem solving, and attention to detail. Candidates should possess Corporate Development and Finance skills, including transaction support, valuation, and understanding of capital structures. Candidates should possess Financial Modeling skills, including building complex models in Excel and performing scenario and sensitivity analyses, prior real estate analysis is a plus. Candidates should possess Communication skills, including clear written reporting, presentation development, and the ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field preferred; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus. Experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or financial planning and analysis is preferred. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, and financial research tools. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see the quantitative interconnectedness of creating and updating financial models. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
