About the role

Our summer productions in the beautiful John Hinkel Park Amphitheater have become a great community gatheringg, as well as a being a joyous celebration of theater - but our small volunteer board can use help with distributing programs, helping folks in wheelchairs or with limited mobility/hearing find a place, and helping with concessions at intermission. Since we first started performing at the beautiful John Hinkel Park Amphitheater, we began a tradition of serving hot-dogs, veggie-dogs, and corn-on-the-cob at intermission. We have folks who will do the cooking - but we need folks to help lay out the food and direct patrons. As a bonus - you get to watch the play! Please help us continue our summer productions, a part of the summer in Berkeely since 2013, but continuing the tradition of plays in the John Hinkel Park Amphitheater from it's original construction in 1930's.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
