About the role

The Quality Assurance Manager has full ownership for leading the Company’s Quality Assurance (QA) process, providing quality expertise and guidance to support and continuously improve product and process quality throughout the organization. The position is responsible for maintaining the Company’s ISO requirements, internal and external audits, process improvements, quality reporting, effects analysis, and corrective/preventive action processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ·        Responsible of QA processes as it relates to contract manufacturer and vendor qualification process.·        Implement QA improvement plans·        Drive Quality Policy throughout the organization.·        Develop and maintain metrics to evaluate performance and improvement processes.·        Ensure quality aspects are part of all products, and procedures.·        Conduct quality system and process audits at supplier facilities.·        Drive failure analysis on product writes 8D and 4m reports and associated corrective/preventive action closure.·        Interface directly with suppliers and customers on all quality issues.·        Represent Quality Group at the Configuration Change Board.
QUALIFICATIONS: ·        Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BA) from four-year college or university, and 5+ years related electronics product and ISO quality assurance experience.·        Minimum of 1 years QA Manager experience.·        Experience in ISO 9001/14001 Quality Systems auditing.·        Previous experience with contract manufactures is required·        Strong expertise in FMEA electrical product quality and failure analysis.·        Experience with applying quality tools to include DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and 8D.·        Hands-on experience with vendor certification and approvals.·        Experience with PPAP’s.·        Ability to interpret and review drawings and bill of materials for accuracy and standard compliance. Estimated base salary range: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00.Compensation decisions may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education, and experience within the industry.
