Yigal Azrouël is seeking an accomplished Wholesale Account Director to join our growing team and further elevate the brand’s presence within the luxury fashion market. We are looking for a highly experienced wholesale professional with an established network of relationships across leading department stores, luxury retailers, and specialty stores. This is a relationship-driven role for someone who understands the business of fashion, knows the retail landscape, and has the confidence and sophistication to represent a distinctive designer brand at the highest level.
Responsibilities: * Develop and execute domestic and international sales strategies, taking ownership of revenue targets and account growth.* Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, establishing clear goals and accountability.* Expand our wholesale network and build lasting relationships with boutiques, department stores, and strategic partners.* Guide merchandising and assortment planning, identifying the right product mix, price points, and opportunities for each market and account.* Translate consumer feedback, buying patterns, and sales performance into actionable recommendations for design and production.* Plan and execute trunk shows, buyer appointments, collection presentations, and in-store selling events.* Visit partner stores to strengthen relationships, train selling teams, improve product presentation, and drive sell-through and reorders.* Coordinate sales forecasts, production planning, order deadlines, and delivery schedules.* Travel domestically and internationally to develop business and support key accounts.
The ideal candidate: At least five years of sales experience in luxury fashion or luxury goods, with demonstrated success in both U.S. and international markets Direct responsibility for a multimillion-dollar sales business, supported by measurable revenue and account growth Proven experience leading and developing a sales team Deep, established relationships with major department stores, luxury retailers, and key buyers Proven experience selling during Market Week and seasonal showroom appointments Sophisticated understanding of the luxury fashion and retail landscape Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Naturally outgoing, polished, and confident Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial approach to developing business Collaborative and highly team-oriented Passionate about fashion, design, and building brandsA strong ambassador who understands how to represent a designer brand with authenticity Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure, professionalism, and attention to detail
Annual Salary range: $75,000 - $150,000 based on experience.
