Location: 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262 Hendrick Motorsports, a leading NASCAR Motorsports operation, is currently searching for a Full-Time Embraer 145 Captain at the KJQF airport. The ideal candidate will need to be a team player while seeking excellence in every aspect of their performance and should have extensive knowledge of pilot and flight operations, FAA regulations, operations specifications, aircraft flight manuals and other technical data appropriate to aircraft operations. Position requires strong communication, flexible work schedule, the ability to travel and conducting oneself in a professional and respectful manner that personifies our company’s values. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIESResponsible for safe operation of the ERJ-145aircraft. Responsible for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with, but not limited to the following items: Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft. The conduct of a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual. A complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports. Ensure the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of Hendrick Motorsports Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew. Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: TO BE CONSIDEREDTotal time = 3000 hoursPIC = 1500 hoursMEL = 1500 hoursMEL PIC = 500 hours Time in Turbo Jet = 500 hours Instrument = 250 hours 5 years of aviation experienceSPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONSType rating on ERJ-145/Legacyaircraft desired. Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. Part 121/125 Corporate Flight Experience Preferred. First class medical required. Must be able to work on anon-call basis. Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually. Primary residence within a 1-hour drive from Concord, NCor willing to relocate. Hendrick is an Equal Opportunity employer.
