🩻 Radiology Technician (Rad Tech)📍 Des Moines, IA💰 $28–$36/hr🕐 Day Shift | 8-Hour ShiftsAre you a Radiology Technician looking for an opportunity to work closely with orthopedic physicians and make a direct impact on patient care? We’re hiring an experienced Rad Tech to join a busy orthopedic specialty practice in Des Moines! This is a great opportunity to build your orthopedic imaging experience while working alongside a collaborative medical team and receiving on-site training.
🦴 What You’ll Do:
- Perform diagnostic X-rays and imaging of various areas of the body, including shoulders, knees, hips, and other orthopedic injuries
- Work closely with orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Support physicians in the evaluation and treatment of sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, and acute injuries
- Provide compassionate, professional care while ensuring patients feel comfortable throughout the imaging process
- Follow established radiation safety and imaging protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced specialty setting
- Participate in ongoing training and development provided on site⏰ Schedule8-hour shifts
- Regular schedule falls between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PMUrgent Clinic coverage may be scheduled 10:00 AM–6:00 PMMay work approximately one Saturday every 4–6 weeks
- Saturday Urgent Clinic: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM$100 bonus for working a Saturday$50 additional compensation if placed on Saturday call from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM✅ What We’re Looking ForARRT certification/license eligible to practice in IowaAt least 6 months of Radiology Technician experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to obtaining quality diagnostic images
- Excellent patient-care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively alongside physicians and clinical staff
