Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while serving as a hands-on contributor responsible for the department's overall performance, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and key operational and financial metrics reporting. Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes while partnering with leadership to evaluate business performance and drive profitability. Coordinate tax compliance, reporting, and audit activities with external CPA partners. Oversee accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and vendor payment processes to support strong cash management and business operations. Serve as the primary administrator for ERP systems, leading system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives. Develop actionable financial insights and recommendations related to cost control, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior leadership, supervisory, or management responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to partner with operational leaders and provide financial insights that support business decision-making. Experience preparing, analyzing, and communicating financial and operational data to support organizational goals. Strong systems aptitude with experience utilizing accounting, financial reporting, and enterprise business systems. Exposure to multi-entity, multi-location, manufacturing, or complex operating environments is preferred. Highly analytical with strong problem-solving, process improvement, and reporting capabilities.
