About the role

INTEGRATED MARKETING DIRECTORBuild the function that turns every brand touchpoint into one connected consumer experience. THE COMPANYOur client is an entrepreneurial, privately held and private-equity-backed company that creates and distributes strong brands andproducts in more than 60 countries. The 70+ year-old company is a high-growth beauty business focused on exceptional-quality products at accessible prices, developed through innovation and on-trend design. They are seeking a senior integrated marketing leader to reshape how its portfolio goes to market. Historically, the function centered on social media, influencer marketing, and content creation. The next chapter is broader: one connected operating model spanning social, influencer, public relations, shopper and retail media, on-shelf execution, national media, and the touchpoints surrounding Amazon and e-commerce.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Integrated brand leadership. Set the portfolio-wide vision, strategy, and operating rhythm for integrated marketing across social, influencer, public relations, shopper and retail media, on-shelf activation, and national media. Campaign orchestration. Translate brand priorities into cohesive, insight-led campaigns with clear roles for every channel, consistent storytelling, and stronger cumulative impact. Operating model transformation. Redesign processes, decision rights, and handoffs so teams work across disciplines rather than in silos; guide stakeholders through changes in ownership and accountability. Portfolio execution. Lead integrated execution across the full portfolio, balancing enterprise standards with the distinct needs, consumer profiles, and growth priorities of each business. Shopper and retail media integration. Direct the Shopper Marketing Manager and ensure retail media is embedded in the broader marketing mix rather than managed as a separate workstream. Connected commerce. Understand and actively manage the links between brand marketing, Amazon, e-commerce, retailer activity, national spend, and the in-store experience—even where teams sit outside the direct reporting line. Team leadership and capability building. Lead and develop a five-person team, including the Shopper Marketing Manager and four marketers currently aligned to the sunless and tools/accessories businesses; evolve the team from content production toward end-to-end campaign management. Cross-functional partnership. Build strong relationships across brand, sales, e-commerce, creative, media, and agency partners; align stakeholders around shared priorities, timelines, measures, and decisions. Agency leadership. Set a high bar for agency thinking and execution, challenge recommendations constructively, and ensure external partners deliver against the business strategy. Performance and learning. Use consumer, commercial, and campaign data to define success, optimize investment, communicate results, and continuously improve the marketing model.
QUALIFICATIONS: Beauty industry experience is required, with a demonstrated understanding of how beauty brands are built and activated across consumer, retail, and earned channels.7+ years of progressive leadership experience across integrated marketing, brand activation, or omnichannel marketing, with ownership of complex campaigns from strategy through execution. Experience leading and developing teams through an evolution in remit, capability, and ways of working. Strong command of social media, influencer marketing, public relations, content, shopper marketing, and retail media—and the judgment to connect them into one plan. Fluency in the relationship among brand marketing, retailers, Amazon, e-commerce, and national media investment. Track record of operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, high-growth, or transformation environment; experience bringing large-company best practices into a more agile organization is especially valuable. Ability to synthesize data and consumer insight into clear choices, then communicate those choices persuasively to both creative and commercially oriented audiences. Strong agency, stakeholder, and change-management skills, with the confidence to influence without relying on hierarchy.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
