About the role
Competitive Base Salary + Individual & Team Performance Incentives Burco Staffing is an established physician recruitment and staffing agency that is seeking an experienced Travel Nurse Recruiter to spearhead their Travel Nursing team. This is a hands-on recruitment and leadership position for someone who enjoys making placements, mentoring recruiters, and improving team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, screen, and place travel nurses in contract assignments Manage candidates throughout the recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, and placement process Develop long-term relationships with nurses to support extensions and future assignments Take a meaningful role in training and overseeing a team of recruiters. Recommend travel-nursing recruitment best practices and process improvements Work closely with agency leadership to support continued growth
What We're Looking for:
Strong understanding of the most impactful recruitment methodologies Demonstrated ability to successfully recruit and place travel nurses in contract assignments Familiarity with credentialing, compliance, onboarding, extensions, and redeployment Leadership, training, or recruiter-management experience is strongly preferred Strong sourcing, communication, and candidate-relationship skills Organized, accountable, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment Able to recruit independently while supporting the success of a team
