As a nationally recognized medical practice that provides prevention-based screenings, physicals and fitness evaluations for Firefighters and Police Officers you can help save the lives of those that work tirelessly each day to protect oursREQUIREMENTS:B.S. required from an accredited program of Exercise Physiology or Exercise ScienceM.S. preferredACLS and BLS requiredExcellent written/verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and leadership skillsStrong technical skills to include MS Office, Imaging software and EMR platformsProfessionalism and compassion a MUST!Have own vehicle that can hold and carry needed equipmentTHIS POSITION WILL BE BASED OUT OF THE CENTRAL FL AREA, BUT WILL REQUIRE TRAVEL THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FL AND SOME OUT OF STATE TRAVEL AS WELL MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVELRESPONSIBILITIES:Review patient historyAssess body weight, BMI and BIA Body Fat %Properly prep and perform a 12-lead resting and exercise ECG with independent intermediate interpretation skills (ECG assessment will be given as part of pre-employment process to assess knowledge) Perform various muscular strength and endurance assessmentsPerform various flexibility assessmentsCreate customized exercise prescriptions based on exam resultsInclude dietary recommendationsIndividualized and detailed chartingOther duties as assignedWHY CHOOSE LIFE SCAN WELLNESS?
