Job Duties: The Clinical Specialist (CS) is a licensed nurse who functions within the three spheres of influence: patient, nurse, and system. The CS must possess advanced knowledge of nursing practice and the ability to apply standards within the practice area.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)Graduate of an accredited nursing program Four (4)+ years of clinical experience, including at least two (2) years of experience in the specialty area for the position Two (2)+ years of experience in a leadership role (including Charge Nurse, Team Lead, or RN IV level at UAMS)
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in nursing (MSN)Experience in an academic medical setting National Nursing Certification in the specialty area of the position
