- Review Medicaid applications and verify financial and personal information
- Interview applicants and family members as needed
- Document findings and assist with Medicaid approvals and denials
- Manage private billing and collection of outstanding balances
- Oversee monthly aging reports
- Execute admission agreements with residents
- Coordinate insurance authorizations and appeals
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with federal and state regulations
- 1+ year of Medicaid processing experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
