EDCO is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team! For more than 65 years, EDCO (Equipment Development Company) has been designing and manufacturing high-performance, "Rental-Tough" equipment for the construction and equipment rental industries. From our facility in Frederick, Maryland, we manufacture professional surface preparation, floor grinding and removal, vacuum systems, and sawing equipment that contractors and rental customers depend on for demanding jobs. EDCO is hiring for the following regions: Western Region: AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY, AK, HI (13 states) Midwest Region: AR, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, OK, SD, TX, KS, WI (17 states)We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team and help take EDCO's growth to the next level. This is an opportunity for a strategic, results-driven sales leader who enjoys building relationships, developing markets, identifying new opportunities, and taking ownership of a territory. You will play a key role in expanding EDCO's customer base, strengthening strategic accounts, and driving profitable growth.
What You'll Do: Own and deliver revenue and gross profit targets for your assigned region Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to increase market share Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities Build, manage, and expand key accounts and strategic customer relationships Develop strong partnerships with distributors, dealers, and channel partners, where applicable Analyze territory performance, market trends, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth Collaborate closely with customer service, marketing, operations, pricing, and leadership teams to ensure strong execution Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, business reviews, and product training Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast in the CRM Monitor competitive activity, pricing trends, and changing market conditions Turn market intelligence into actionable sales strategies
Leadership Responsibilities: If managing sales representatives, you will also: Recruit, train, coach, and develop sales talent Establish clear expectations, quotas, and performance metrics Coach representatives on prospecting, account management, sales strategy, and closing Conduct regular performance reviews and customer ride-alongs Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer value, and sustainable growth How Success Will Be Measured Success in this role will be measured through a combination of growth, profitability, customer development, and sales execution, including: Territory revenue and gross profit growth Revenue growth by product segment New account acquisition New customer revenue Growth in targeted promotional products Sales forecast accuracy Inventory reporting accuracy and inventory turns CRM compliance and data accuracy Customer visits and account reviews Sales activity and pipeline development What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who combines strong business development skills with a strategic, customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, building relationships at multiple levels, analyzing sales performance, and taking ownership of results. Experience selling into the construction, concrete, equipment rental, industrial, or related markets is highly valued Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to build something - not simply manage a sales territory.
