About the role
Position Overview
The Safety and Fleet Coordinator is responsible for supporting company-wide safety initiatives and managing fleet-related operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and employee safety. This role serves as a key liaison between leadership, the safety committee, vendors, and field teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with field-facing support.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
Coordinate safety training programs and maintain accurate training records, including CPR, confined space and other required certifications.
Support AGC Retro and other safety-related documentation requirements.
Serve as a liaison between the Safety Committee and company leadership, helping communicate initiatives, concerns, and follow-up actions.
Monitor, manage, and fulfill PPE requests to ensure employee have required safety equipment.
Fleet Management
Coordinate new vehicle setup, rentals as needed, Good To Go toll accounts, and vehicle assignments.
Schedule and track routine vehicle maintenance and updates, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Manage telematics systems, including monitoring, reporting, and follow-up on safety or usage concerns.
Support insurance claims related to vehicle accidents and property damage, coordinating documentation and communication as needed.
Vendor & Subcontractor Administration
Maintain the approved subcontractor list, ensuring agreements and documentation are current.
Assemble and manage vendor packets, collecting insurance certificates, safety documentation, and required agreements.
Work with accounting to ensure customers receive all required documentation and support to facilitate smooth transactions.
Coordinate requested contract execution and monitor completion.
Administrative & Cross-Functional Support
Assist leadership and project teams with safety, fleet, and compliance-related needs.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and tracking documents related to safety, fleet, and vendor compliance.

Salary Range $32 - $36 per hour
Requirements
Experience in safety coordination, fleet management, or administrative operations (construction, trades, or service industries preferred).
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with field staff, vendors, and leadership.
Comfortable working with technology platforms, document management systems, and reporting tools.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with fleet telematics systems and vehicle safety programs.
Experience supporting safety committees or compliance efforts.
Prior exposure to vendor or subcontractor compliance management.
