Lead Dock Worker - Full-Time (Day Shift):

Position Summary: The Lead Dock Worker is responsible for the daily operation of the dock area, ensuring donations are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately. This role plays a key part in supporting store operations and warehouse logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and support dock area operations
  • Ensure proper placement and categorization of donated goods in the warehouse
  • Fill donation orders for Goodwill retail stores
  • Load deliveries onto trucks at the loading dock
  • Operate tow motor safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Basic Requirements: Tow motor certification required This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing during employment Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting
  • Bilateral reaching at all levels; handling, fingering, fine fingering, and simple grasping
  • Occasional sitting and kneeling
  • Frequent lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs.; occasional lifting/carrying 51-100 lbs.
  • Frequent pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. at varying distances
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Steel-toe footwear required
  • Background check required
