About the role

Beattie Padovano, LLC seeks a dedicated legal administrative assistant to assist the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. The legal administrative assistant’s responsibilities will include:· Communication with clients in person, over the phone, and via email· Assist in preparation of briefs, motions and other pleadings.· Assist in searches and extraction of information from court-related databases and websites and with firm’s eDiscovery procedures.· Arrange for service of subpoenas and summons using firm preferred process servers.· Manage the Litigation Practice Group calendar.· E-File and obtain documents using PACER, NYSCEF, New Jersey eCourts and other court resources.· Interact with personnel from multiple departments and at various levels in the firm.· Assist with department projects as needed and perform other work-related duties as assigned by attorneys and manager. Candidates must have the following qualifications and skills:· Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills· Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills· Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required.· Minimum of 2 years’ experience working at a law firm.· Experience with PACER, NYSCEF, New Jersey eCourts, and similar filing systems is preferred. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental insurance, life insurance with AD&D and 401(k) program. Salary range is $57,000-$65,000 a year.
