About the role

Overview In this role you will contribute to the Bills, Beneficiary and Beyond (BBB) team within EBST by delivering quality software solutions that support key Employee Benefit Solutions processes. You will work across design, development, testing, and support, including on-call duties, to modernize and maintain systems. The position emphasizes collaboration in an agile environment, learning new technologies, and driving improvements to billing, beneficiary data, and integrations. This is a hybrid role with opportunities to influence tech strategy and customer-focused outcomes. Compensation / BenefitsPTO flexiblity Parental and caregiver leave options Nine company-paid holidays 401(k) with company contribution Health insurance for employees and families Volunteer time and matching gifts Responsibilities Collaborate with development teams and business partners in an agile environment to solve problems with a test-and-learn mindset Provide ongoing support for business applications and participate in on-call rotation Perform analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and implementation of medium to high complexity Support technology modernization efforts and learn new technologies used in the new implementation Develop and maintain understanding of self-administered billing, premium processes, beneficiary data, Illustrations processes and integrations with other systems Key requirements 3-5 years of software development experience using Java and familiarity with Java Script Familiarity with Git/Git Hub and modern development workflows Willingness to learn in a complex domain handling customer and employee data with focus on customer service Ability to troubleshoot, seek feedback via code reviews, and collaborate effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Accountability, curiosity, problem solving, and desire to grow technical skills Collaboration Communication Problem solving Java Java Script Git
