Role Description:
The Land Acquisition Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing land opportunities that align with True North Development strategic goals. This is a full-time role that requires travel around Middle Tennessee. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing potential sites through networking, market research, and direct outreach to landowners and brokers; performing preliminary financial analyses and feasibility assessments; and coordinating due diligence activities such as surveys, environmental reviews, and title work.
Qualifications:
Strong land and real estate acquisition skills, including site identification, deal structuring, and negotiation. Basic analytical and financial skills, such as market research, feasibility analysis, and basic pro forma modeling. Ability to establish industry relationships, with good communication skills to work effectively with landowners, brokers, public officials, and internal teams. Knowledge of zoning, entitlement processes, and local regulations relevant to land development. Prefer no less than two years of experience, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficiency with standard office and mapping tools (e.g., Excel, Power Point, GIS or similar) and a valid driver’s license.
