About the role

Editor De VídeoA client operating in the real estate and lifestyle sectors is seeking an experienced and highly qualified video editor for a long-term partnership. The selected individual will be responsible for editing between 4 and 10 high-quality videos per month, tailored for different platforms, such as You Tube, Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, and Linked In. The content will primarily relate to real estate, relocation, and lifestyle, utilizing materials like drone footage and 4K videos. Responsibilities include editing raw materials into engaging, high-quality videos for various digital platforms, adapting videos according to platform needs, creating and implementing motion graphics, animations, and visual effects, performing professional color correction and grading, conducting basic audio mixing and sound design, working with DJI drone footage and 4K smartphone videos, applying best practices for video codecs, frame rate, and resolution, creating strong hooks in the first 3 seconds of videos, maintaining viewer interest through rhythm and cadence, utilizing AI upscaling tools, and organizing the workflow efficiently to meet monthly deliverables. Required qualifications include more than 3 years of professional video editing experience, advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, animations, and VFX, solid understanding of professional color correction and grading, basic knowledge of audio mixing and sound design, experience working with DJI drone footage and 4K videos, experience adapting content for You Tube, Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, and Linked In, proven ability to visually tell stories, fluency in Portuguese or English with preference for bilingual candidates, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred skills include experience with real estate, tourism, or tourism-related videos, knowledge of current video production and editing trends, experience with AI tools for content generation, editing, or upscaling, and the ability to propose new ideas and creative solutions. This is a long-term position with weekly meetings during peak activity periods. The editor will be responsible for creatively executing the client's guidelines while maintaining a collaborative and efficient workflow. Compensation will be determined based on experience and market rates. We are looking for someone who combines technical excellence with creativity and autonomy. The ideal person should be proactive, organized, and capable of transforming raw materials into visually impactful content. Flexibility to adapt to client needs and keeping up with new tools and trends in video production is also important.
