Support/Hourly - Position - Crew Lead Job Number 0000765236 Start Date Open Date 07/15/2026 Closing Date ROLE AND PURPOSE:Plan, organize, and maintain the operation of all District facilities as required to meet department responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Must have valid Texas Driver's License and satisfactory driving record Minimum 5 years' commercial maintenance or construction experience required MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Plan, organize, and supervise assigned crews' daily activities Maintain and monitor work orders and work order system with supervisors Organize and supervise special projects, as assigned, throughout the district Maintain all physical buildings and structures including concrete, flooring, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and commercial carpentry, as directed by department foreman or supervisor Coordinate, organize and complete daily assignments, assuming responsibility for proper documentation regarding assigned tasks, works orders, and procurement of supplies Initiate work orders within assigned zones as needed Abide by all AISD policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Assume responsibility for care of assigned service vehicle, tools, and equipment Assume responsibility for personal timekeeping and communication and documentation of absences Perform all other duties as assigned to serve the needs of the District as determined by departmental leadership Maintain effective and positive communication and rapport within assigned department and with all other areas of contact I.
