ABOUT THE JOB:
The Brand Manager is a player-coach who leads a small team of brand and content professionals to translate business and product priorities into clear customer value. This role provides strategic direction and day-to-day oversight for sales enablement and support, brand-led internal initiatives, and content across customer touchpoints - ensuring the team delivers work that is on-brand, on-strategy, and on-time.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: People Management & Team Development
Directly manage two brand team members: Marketing Specialist (EA Marketing and Internal Initiatives focus) and Content Specialist (content production with primary focus on case studies) Set priorities across content, sales enablement, employee advocacy marketing, and internal initiatives; balance workload, remove blockers, and ensure the right work gets the right attention Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance management; support career development and skill growth Sharpen the team's output through editorial review, strategic input, and connection to broader business priorities Be a strong partner to Sales, HR, Enterprise Accounts, and other cross-functional teams Content Strategy, Oversight & Brand Voice Stewardship Set the content direction and day-to-day priorities for case studies, newsletters, sales tools, internal communications, and other brand content Provide editorial oversight for content produced by direct reports, including hands-on review and revision when needed Serve as the brand voice backstop across customer, employee, and sales-facing content, ensuring alignment with WillScot's brand philosophy Review and approve creative and copy deliverables before launch, maintaining quality without becoming a bottleneck Identify opportunities to reuse and scale strong content across channels and audiences Sales Enablement & Support Develop sales enablement strategies, content, and tools that help sales teams clearly communicate value and strengthen customer engagement Create and manage scalable customer-facing resources, including pitch decks, proposals, playbooks, case studies, and messaging frameworks Establish content governance, asset libraries, and streamlined processes that improve accessibility, consistency, adoption, and efficiency across sales teams Lead the evaluation and implementation of enablement technologies and best practices that improve content delivery, support appropriate customization, and scale marketing support Brand-Led Internal Initiatives, Employee Advocacy & Loyalty Programs Provide strategic oversight for internal-facing initiatives led by the Marketing Specialist and broader team, including employee advocacy marketing, Customer Portal awareness, the Referral Rewards loyalty program, and employee engagement campaigns Partner with HR, Sales, Enterprise Accounts, and other stakeholders to align messaging, drive adoption, and measure engagement Ensure internal programs reinforce the broader brand strategy and create a consistent brand experience across audiencesEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Minimum of five years of B2B brand, content, communications, or integrated marketing experience Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience Prior experience in industrial, equipment rental, construction, logistics, or adjacent B2B categories strongly preferred
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team of marketing professionals across a range of experience levels
- Marketing-minded operator who translates business priorities into clear, compelling customer and employee communications
- Strong content and campaign experience - able to guide case studies, sales tools, internal initiatives, and campaign assets from strategy through execution
- Demonstrated ability to steward brand voice across a range of channels and audiences (customer, employee, sales-facing)
- Comfortable operating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, HR, and external agency partners
- Understanding of B2B buyers and how to reach operational, field-driven audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong editorial judgment
- Strong project management skills; able to balance multiple content priorities, campaigns, sales support needs, and internal initiatives simultaneously
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, etc., for an office environment.
Work Environment:
This is an in-office role; not hybrid. Travel up to 10%. Supervisory Responsibility: Direct supervision of 2 employees; responsible for day-to-day oversight, coaching, and performance management. This posting is for a(n) New Position.
