Job Description
Fitness Wearable Testers: A global consumer device company is looking for Fitness Trainers or Athletes to test wearable devices in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
  • You will test prototype and existing devices.
  • You will meet with a team of fitness experts and engineers at a local location to preform multiple fitness tests such as walks, runs, cycles and swim activities
  • You will participate to identify and report any device issues that may occur while running tests
  • You will work typically 3 days per week (24 hours) and up to 5 days a week (40 hours)
Requirements:
  • Must be familiar with iOS and Android devices (phones, watches, etc.)Perform fitness intensive tasks such as walk, hike, run, cycle, swimming activities on a daily basis
  • Should be physically fit for walk, hike and run activities 4-6 miles a day
  • Able to operate iOS and Android products, read test documentations and be able to perform tasks.
  • Must be able to perform physical fitness tests such as walks, runs up to six miles daily
  • Must be able to travel with team for up to 1 week (occasionally)
  • Great communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
  • Fitness Trainers or Athletes preferred.
  • Experience postprocessing logs
  • Prepare test devices for Field testing which includes physical setup, software installs, and upkeep
Location: Chicago (Millennium Park/downtown area)
Duration: 6 months
Pay Range: $30-$35/hr. (DOE)
