Meriden Eye Care is seeking a dedicated Optometric Technician to join our team in Meriden, Connecticut. As an integral part of our optometry clinic, you will work alongside experienced professionals and make a difference in our patients' lives.
Daily Responsibilities: Conduct pre-testing procedures for eye exams Perform visual field testing and lensometry Assist with contact lens fittings and dispensing Utilize autorefractors to measure visual acuity Provide excellent patient care and support
Required Skills: Knowledge of EHR and Office Mate Knowledge of optical terminology and procedures Experience with NCLE certification and prescription dispensing Ability to assist with scribing and diagnosis Strong background in retail sales and medical assisting Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality Tonometry skills Optical Coherence Tomography skills Refraction skills Autorefractor skills Company Information: Meriden Eye Care is an optometry clinic in Meriden, Connecticut, providing comprehensive eye exams, dry eye treatments, orthokeratology, and contact lens services for patients of all ages.
