Standard Job DescriptionManages the training of both company and customer students on production aircraft systems. Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the operations and training of the Advanced Integration Center. May act as instructor pilot for training customer pilots and aircrew during syllabus training simulator events; may conduct classroom training of customer pilots and aircrew. May conduct demonstrations with customers, government officials, or other personnel to exhibit aircraft performance, flying qualities and system capabilities. Directs the engineering and pilot input to training, customer support and marketing teams. Basic QualificationsBachelors Degree or higher with related experience Experience in managing operations and sustainment for USAF Squadrons and Wings at bases with active flight operations; including flight test and high tempo operational maintenance and logistics environments. Experience managing aircraft operations, maintenance, and logistics workforces. Leadership skills. Experience in areas of cost/schedule, risk management. Active Top Secret Clearance
Desired Skills: 12+ years of related experience Candidate should possess a broad military aircraft support background and advanced interpersonal and communication skills to be effective in a high tempo flight test and execution environment. Ability to effectively communicate with international customers, team partner companies, and local base authorities critical for success. Prior United States Air Force or civilian equivalent operational flight, maintenance & logistics experience highly desirable; specifically, organizational and intermediate operations experience. Should be considered an expert authority in the operations and support disciplines. Familiarity with aircraft logistics, test and evaluation requirements, maintenance information systems, and technical publications beneficial. Knowledge of both pilot and maintainer systems & processes, development and technical directive implementation and logistics support.
