Shift: Days (05:00-13:30) What's the Job? Read blueprint drawings and work orders to understand and meet customer specifications. Produce quality parts by running plastic injection molding machines and following work orders and blueprints. Monitor process temperatures and injection pressures to detect non-conformances to drawing specs. Verify settings by measuring positions, completing first-run parts, and checking sample work pieces. Use precision instruments such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, and an optical comparator to confirm part accuracy. What's Needed? Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings and work orders. Willingness to operate and monitor injection molding equipment while maintaining process consistency. Comfort using measurement tools including micrometers, Vernier calipers, and an optical comparator. Strong focus on quality checks, including first-run verification and ongoing conformance monitoring. Ability to perform occasional preventive maintenance per the manufacturer’s instructions.
