Job Highlights: Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies. These tasks involve manual labor and include but are not limited to: fabrication, production and assembly, including framing, drywall, painting and finishing. Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists. Cleans and maintains work areas and equipment, including tools. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
Candidate Profile:
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
  • Previous construction and/or manufacturing experience and training is also preferred
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components
  • Excellent stamina for manual tasks required
