About the role
To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Licensed Medicaid Consultant will maintain compliance standards, develop procedures, conduct risk assessments, and provide training to staff while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Develop compliance reports and conduct compliance investigations to ensure adherence to Medicaid regulations
Coordinate implementation of compliance efforts and monitor ongoing compliance adherence across the organization
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field
Minimum six (6) years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, or a related field
Experience in health plan compliance and operations preferred
Ability to manage projects and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and ability to monitor regulatory changes
