Our client, a nonprofit organization base in the Bronx, is seeking a Program Aide to support their Workforce & Reentry Team.
Hours: Full-Time
Annual Salary: $45,000–$50,000
Position Summary:
The Program Aide provides administrative and programmatic support for Workforce & Reentry programs. The position assists with participant services, program activities, documentation, data entry, scheduling, communications, and daily program operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily program operations and activities.
- Assist with participant intake, enrollment, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate participant files and program records.
- Enter and update participant information in program databases.
- Assist with attendance and participation tracking.
- Support orientations, workshops, meetings, and program events.
- Communicate with participants regarding schedules and program activities.
- Assist with participant outreach and follow-up.
- Prepare program materials, forms, sign-in sheets, and correspondence.
- Support payroll documentation and collection of required information.
- Assist with gift card and transportation card distribution.
- Help coordinate worksite visits and participant activities.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper files.
- Assist with reports and routine program documentation.
- Support compliance activities and document collection.
- Provide administrative support to the Program Manager and Workforce & Reentry team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Experience in human services, workforce development, youth programs, reentry, or administration preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data-entry systems.
- Ability to work effectively with participants, staff, and community partners.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
Work Environment:
- Primarily office and program-based work.
- Occasional travel to program and work sites.
- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
