About the role

Lead Software Developer Aspire Software is looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our team in Lebanon. Here is a little window into our company: Aspire Software operates and manages wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio. What your day will look like: Lead, mentor and grow a team of backend engineers by setting technical direction, coding standards and best practices Own the architecture and technical design of enterprise web applications on AWS, from concept to production Make key decisions on technology, scalability, security and cost, and balance short-term delivery against long-term maintainability Work with Product, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders to turn requirements into realistic plans and timelines Lead code reviews, design reviews and technical discussions Drive the use of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across the team to improve productivity and quality Act as the escalation point during production incidents: lead root-cause analysis, coordinate fixes and put preventive measures in place Find and reduce technical debt, and keep improving engineering processes (CI/CD, testing, observability)

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
