About the role

Quality Control Inspector Seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a 12-month contract in Sumter, SC. Responsible for product inspection, quality testing, statistical sampling, measurements, documentation, and identifying non-conforming products in an injection molding environment. Requires 6+ months QA experience/exposure, HS diploma, and familiarity with calipers and gauges.
Key Responsibilities: Perform product inspections prior to release according to applicable various testing procedures and basic statistical analysis. Apply appropriate statistical sampling plans. Inspect and contain hold products as required. Record inspection results and audit findings on appropriate forms and/or in SAP Quality Module. Identify and report product non-conformance issues to Quality and Production Management. Monitor product quality and identify quality trends where applicable. Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality system standards. Follow all site-required safety and quality policies. Perform other quality-related duties as directed by Quality Management.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months of QA experience or exposure. Ability to work in a Windows-based computer environment. Experience using measurement devices such as: Calipers

  • Digital Force GaugesRulesAbility to perform basic statistical sampling and analysis.
  • Ability to accurately document inspection results and findings.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
