About the role

We're recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join an established high-volume manufacturing company in Royalton, VT. This is a hands-on, production-focused quality position supporting manufacturing operations, resolving manufacturing quality issues and driving improvements across the production floor. What You'll Do Resolve manufacturing and product quality issues Investigate defects, scrap and process problems Support CAPA and root cause investigations Develop and maintain SPC processes Complete capability studies, Gauge R&R and first article reports Support new mold and product validations Review engineering drawings and technical specifications Support Quality Technicians with inspection and gauging methods Participate in internal, customer and ISO audits Complete production floor process and quality audits
What We're Looking For: Experience within Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a similar manufacturing role Strong mechanical and manufacturing understanding Knowledge of SPC, capability studies and statistical quality methods Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions ISO quality system experience preferred Plastics manufacturing experience is an advantage CMM or dimensional inspection experience is an advantage Engineering or Science degree preferred Strong problem-solving and communication skills Company benefits package 401(k) Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis
