Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35 to $45 per hour Keep a precision CNC machining operation running at its best by catching problems before they become downtime. Must-Haves Preventative maintenance experience in CNC machining, machine tool, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing Working knowledge of CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and coolant systems Strong mechanical aptitude and an eye for developing equipment issues Ability to follow equipment manuals, PM procedures, and schedules Strong commitment to safety and lockout/tagout High school diploma or equivalent
What You'll Do: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers Follow OEM recommendations and internal PM schedules Inspect, lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace machine components Service lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Replace filters, belts, hoses, seals, and other wear items Spot leaks, vibration, noise, overheating, and performance changes early Perform basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs Maintain chip conveyors, mist collectors, coolant filtration, compressors, chillers, and pumps Coordinate complex repairs with OEM technicians and vendors Keep PM schedules, service records, and maintenance logs accurate Schedule maintenance with production to minimize disruption Nice-to-Haves Basic electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with coolant systems, chip conveyors, mist collectors, compressors, or chillers Technical or industrial maintenance training
Compensation and Benefits: $35 to $45 per hour
