About the role

Freezer Consolidator/Warehouse Worker Carencro area company is currently seeking a Freezer Consolidator for an immediate opening. The Freezer Consolidator will be responsible for preparing containers and packing frozen products for shipment. Duties include adding special inserts, ice, insulation, and other materials needed to help keep products fresh during transit. Shipments are large/bulk orders, and some packing may require the worker to climb inside large boxes or containers to properly build and arrange the insulation, ice, inserts, and other materials before packing the products.
Job Duties: Prepare containers for shipment Pack frozen products Build and arrange insulation, ice, inserts, and other packing materials Climb inside large boxes or containers as needed to prepare bulk shipments Ensure products are properly packed and ready for transit Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Work with cold/frozen products Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements: Previous order packing experience required Previous warehouse or similar experience preferred Reliable transportation to and from the job site Ability to work in cold temperatures or with cold materials Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing into large containers as needed Must be flexible and available to work until the end of the shift, as daily end times will vary Must be available to work one on-call weekend per month Pre-employment screening required
Pay: $14/hr
Schedule: Monday Friday, 10:00 AM until finished Position: Temp-to-Hire Following permanent hire, employees will be eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and other benefits, as well as an opportunity for a pay increase.
