HPC - System Engineer - Linux, Bash, Cisco

Description: We are seeking a Systems Engineer whoshall collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to support a closed system that spans multiple locations across Capabilities and Operations. Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. ExperienceSeven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required skills: Proficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operational and maintenance tasks Experience with the Agency’s STE/STN security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation

Desired skills: Experience administering Windows systems Experience with NetApp storage devices Experience with virtualization technologies including vSphere/vCenter Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence

Benefits: Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $180,000 - $215,000.
