About the role

We're working on an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who wants to take their career beyond compliance and have a more direct impact on high-net-worth clients. This role is with a well-established organization that has a dedicated tax function supporting its private clients. What caught my attention about this opportunity is the combination of technical tax work, tax planning, and direct HNW client interaction. You’ll be responsible for managing the tax process from preparation through filing, while also sitting down with clients to understand their needs and identify tax planning opportunities.
What you’ll be doing: • Work directly with high-net-worth clients on their end-to-end tax needs• Prepare federal, state, and local individual income tax returns, including Form 1040• Work with W-2s, 1099s, K-1s and other tax reporting documents• Meet with clients to complete tax intake and discuss tax strategies and planning opportunities• Identify opportunities to minimize taxation and develop appropriate tax strategies• Research and resolve complex tax issues and filing errors• Stay current on tax law changes, industry trends, and professional developments What they’re looking for:• 4+ years of direct tax experience• CPA, EA, or equivalent designation required• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience• Strong individual tax experience
The opportunity: This is a great fit for someone who enjoys the technical side of tax but also enjoys working with people. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with sophisticated private clients, provide tax planning guidance, and become a trusted resource for their tax needs. The organization also offers a strong benefits package, generous PTO, paid holidays, and other benefits.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
