About the role

About the Role: We're looking for an Associate Manager to lead Consumer Growth GTM strategy for New Verticals. This person will shape how we bring priority merchants, categories, and customer behaviors to market, with a focus on bringing structure to a high volume of GTM opportunities and helping teams prioritize and execute them efficiently. You will own the business strategy behind major growth moments: defining the customer opportunity, sizing the potential, recommending where to invest, setting goals, and translating insights into clear GTM plans. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Finance, and Business Development to ensure our plans are both strategically sound and operationally executable. This is a highly visible role for someone who is equally comfortable digging into data, developing a point of view, and driving alignment across senior cross-functional stakeholders. You will manage a portfolio of initiatives with varying levels of complexity and make clear recommendations about where DoorDash should focus its limited resources for the greatest customer and business impact. You're excited about this opportunity because you will…Own Consumer Growth GTM strategy. Lead strategy development for priority New Verticals growth moments, including merchant launches, category expansion, seasonal occasions, affordability initiatives, and product launches. Define the customer problem, business opportunity, target audience, value proposition, and path to impact. Set investment and customer strategy. Develop frameworks to prioritize GTM investments and determine the right level of support across initiatives. Create scalable playbooks for customer targeting, including audience strategy, targeting principles, and measurement approaches. Turn data into action. Build analyses and models using SQL and Excel to assess customer behavior, business performance, incrementality, and return on investment. Develop test-and-learn plans and translate results into clear recommendations for what we should do next. Lead cross-functional execution. Partner with Integrated Marketing, CRM, Paid Media, Creative, Product, Analytics, Finance, Partnerships, and Operations to bring strategies to market. Align teams on goals, audiences, measurement, timelines, risks, and decisions. Build the operating system for GTM. Bring rigor and structure to a high volume of growth opportunities. Create clear prioritization frameworks, repeatable playbooks, planning cadences, and decision mechanisms that help teams move faster and focus resources on the highest-impact initiatives. This role rewards operational rigor: ensuring the highest-impact activations are prioritized, well scoped, and efficiently executed. We're excited about you because you have…4+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, growth, business operations, product strategy, investment banking, or a related analytical and cross-functional environment. Exceptional organizational and program-management skills. You can take a large, ambiguous set of requests and opportunities, create structure around them, and turn them into a clear, actionable plan. Experience building scalable frameworks, playbooks, and operating processes that make cross-functional teams faster and more effective. Strong judgment and prioritization skills. You know how to distinguish between what is urgent, what is impactful, and what does not need to happen. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust across teams, influence senior stakeholders, and navigate competing priorities with sound judgment. You know when to drive alignment, when to push back, and how to articulate a clear point of view while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships. Strong analytical skills, including comfort independently pulling data in SQL and building models in Excel. You use data to develop a point of view and make clear recommendations, not just report findings. Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution and measurement. An operationally minded, low-ego approach. You are comfortable with ambiguity, willing to get into the details, and energized by bringing structure to complex work. A completed Bachelor's degree. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
