🚨 We’re Hiring Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for your next challenge in the automotive industry? We are looking for a Buyer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. What will you do?• Manage purchasing of indirect commodities, MRO materials, spare parts, PPE, chemicals, hardware, electrical supplies and services.• Create and manage RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, including price comparisons and supplier negotiations.• Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities in the U.S. and support alternative material initiatives.• Analyze costs, market conditions, logistics and other commercial factors to identify savings opportunities.• Manage supplier performance, onboarding, contracts and commercial requirements.• Create and follow up on purchase requisitions and purchase orders through SAP.• Work closely with Maintenance, HR, Finance, Logistics, Engineering and other internal stakeholders.• Support audits, purchasing controls, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.• Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports and executive presentations. What are we looking for?• Experience in Indirect Procurement / MRO Purchasing.• Experience with supplier negotiations, sourcing and RFQ/RFP processes.• Knowledge of SAP and purchasing processes.• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.• Understanding of costing, logistics, landed cost and supplier performance.• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.• Experience with suppliers in the U.S. and/or international markets is a plus.
