About the role
Microsoft 365 Technical Lead / ArchitectA leading proprietary trading firm is seeking a Microsoft 365 Technical Lead / Architect to own the design, automation, security, and operation of its Microsoft 365 environment. You'll be responsible for delivering a scalable, secure, and highly automated modern workplace platform supporting a fast-paced trading business.
Responsibilities:
Own and evolve the Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange Online, Share Point, One Drive, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID.Design and implement identity, access management, and endpoint security solutions. Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Power Shell, Terraform, Graph API, Azure CLI, and Git Hub. Manage Azure resources supporting the Microsoft ecosystem. Lead platform modernization, governance, and operational excellence initiatives. Serve as the senior technical escalation point and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
7+ years of Microsoft 365, Endpoint, or Platform Engineering experience. Deep expertise with Microsoft 365 Administration, Exchange Online, Share Point Online, One Drive, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Azure infrastructure and governance, Power Shell, Graph API, Terraform, and automation Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments of 8,000 users or more. Proven ability to balance operational ownership with strategic transformation projects. Preferred Experience within trading, financial services, hedge funds, or other low-latency, high-availability environments. Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 certifications. Exposure to Defender, Purview, Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot. This is an hybrid role based out of the firms Chicago office.
