Subcontract Administration Co-OpPeraton is seeking a proactive, accountable, growth-oriented Spring & Summer 2026 Subcontract Administration Co-Op to join the Procurement team Spring/Summer (Jan 2026 thru August 2026) at our corporate office located in Reston, VA.The Peraton Procurement team is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and services to support its customers and their missions. Peraton relies on Procurement to contain costs by negotiating pricing, to work within a preferred partner network, use our knowledge of the supply chain to mitigate and/or avoid risks, comply with government regulations, and help be a catalyst for winning new business. You'll have the opportunity to solve real-world challenges for our customers.Responsibilities:Support the full subcontract lifecycle, including solicitation, evaluation, award, administration, modification, and closeout.Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and other solicitation documentation to potential subcontractors.Review subcontractor proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with the solicitation terms and applicable regulations.Assist in drafting, negotiating, and executing subcontract agreements and modifications in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and company policy.Ensure proper flow-down of all applicable prime contract terms and conditions, including those related to compliance, reporting, and deliverables.Maintain accurate and complete subcontract files in support of CPSR readiness and internal/external audit requirements.Conduct price and/or cost analysis in support of fair and reasonable determinations, with guidance from senior team members.Monitor subcontractor performance, delivery schedules, and adherence to contractual obligations; assist in issue resolution and risk mitigation.Stay informed of updates to federal public procurement laws, FAR/DFARS requirements, and industry best practices.Support internal stakeholders such as Contracts, Legal, Program Management, and Finance in subcontract-related matters.Required Qualifications:Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university actively pursuing an AA/AS/AAS or BS/BA/BBA Supply Chain, Contract Management, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.Strong desire to pursue a career in supply chain/procurement/purchasing.Familiarity with the concept of supply chain management.Experience with MS Suite: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.Strong oral and written communications skills, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.Takes initiative and follows through on commitments.An avid learner that is curious and eager to grow.Customer service-oriented professional.Desired Qualifications:Previous work experience through class projects, extracurricular involvement, or previous internships.Ability to be detail-oriented and to prioritize work and meet quick turnaround deadlines.Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
