About the role
General Clerk III (EAGLE 2026-25974)Bowhead seeks a General Clerk to support its Eagle contract in Aberdeen. The Supply Division Fuel Point Operations General Clerk performs a combination of clerical and physical tasks to support departmental operations, e.g., filing, copying, and updating databases. The Fuel Point Operations General Clerk is responsible for the general administration of non-tactical fueling operations at the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) fuel point.ResponsibilitiesEssential functions will include:Records gauge, scale, and/or meter readings, volumes of fuel received and issued, and fuel receipts for fuel accurately.Accounts for all fuels received, stored, and issued.Conducts inventory of fuels.Monitors activities to ensure only authorized personnel utilize the fuel point.Prepares and maintains logs and records to account for incoming and outgoing products.Maintains confidentiality of records.Receives, prepares, and verifies documents.Responds to routine requests with standard answers.Researches and compiles information and data.Performs data entry.Follows established procedures or steps to process paperwork.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least two (2+) years' experience in a clerical and data entry computer position.Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.Valid state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.Physical Demands:Sit for long periods of time operating a computer keyboard.Repeat the same movements.Exposure to excessive noise.SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. Due to the location of this work, U.S. citizenship is required. Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.
